Animal rights activists stage protest at Australia’s Perth Royal Show ‘livestock’ event

The cattle are judged based on how good their muscle and flesh looks for human consumption. They are viewed as nothing but objects and commodities; but are in fact sentient individuals who are victims of this holocaust.

PETER DEVLIN: Tash Peterson has staged a sensational protest during a livestock event at the Perth Royal Show. The controversial vegan activist uploaded a video to her social media accounts on Tuesday, along with a statement condemning the event.

“The Royal Show is a brainwashing and propaganda event run by animal agriculture Western Australia; it celebrates and glamorises animal abuse, slavery and murder,” she wrote. “The event runs activities that indoctrinates children into viewing non-human animals as food, objects, commodities, machines and entertainment”…

In the video, Peterson can be seen climbing through a fence at a livestock show, and holding up a sign in the middle of the ring in front of families at the event. “These gentle and innocent beings are going to be brutally murdered and shot in the head. They’re just as gentle and loving as beloved dogs and cats,” she yells…

Animal rights activists targeted the cattle judging ring “where they are judged based on how good their muscle and flesh looks for human consumption.” “They are viewed as nothing but objects and commodities; but are in fact sentient individuals who are victims of this holocaust,” Peterson wrote…

In a statement the Royal Agricultural Society of WA told The West Australian: “… When an individual places themselves in a position where they are not safe, are creating a potentially unsafe situation for others and for the animals, it is our duty of care to intervene swiftly. The person in question was removed from the ring as quickly as possible to minimise any potential threat to her own, and others safety”…

This comes after the 26-year-old said she is not sorry — nor guilty — for allegedly subjecting shoppers to abuse inside a luxury Perth store while covered in what she claimed was her period blood. The 26-year-old has also vowed to continue to carry out similar stunts in a bid to end what she says is an “animal Holocaust” and is willing to go to prison for the cause.

Peterson made the comments after she appeared in Perth Magistrates Court earlier this month where she pleaded not guilty to behaving in a disorderly manner in relation to the August 21 incident. Peterson, from Bicton, allegedly entered the Louis Vuitton store in Raine Square dressed only in a pink g-string, covered in what she says was her period blood, and carrying a sign emblazoned with the words: “If you’re not vegan you’re an animal abuser” ..SOURCE…
